Hi folks, just to let you know that I am still around.

For those that know me, Julie is going in for her hip op on June 10th.

So nice to see you again, dear friend! And what a cute and proud pose this colourfully fellow shows of. It's a lovely shot, Jeff. Indeed I was wondering when Julie will get her new hip, hoping she is not nervous, and that everything will go very well. Hugs to you both there in that beautiful Chard.

I had heard a rumor that there was a Jayfar around here somewhere but I thought it was just a rumor. How 'ya been Jeff? I hope all is well and that the wife sales through her surgery with flying colors. This is a cracker jack image. Strikes me as a quintessentially upper crust English bird. Proud, regal and ever so slightly ridiculous. A colorful fellow. I like his "We are not amused" attitude.

great to see you post and what a beautiful bird and capture. I hope the best for Julie. make sure she does not forget and sit down in a low chair like my sister did. her hip popped out and an ambulance had to take her to the hospital. luckily for her the surgeon that done her hip replacement was at the hospital, but he was in a world of pain

Good to know you are still above ground, Jeff! This is a superb portrait of this splendid chap, he looks incredibly proud. Give Julie my love and tell her that date is a good omen, both the Duke of E and I share BD's..

The bird looks to be a relative of what we in Kansas call a Pheasant.

Nice shot Jeff, they seem to be trying to get killed on our road running out in front of the cars. Best wishes to Julie for the Op.
