Description

Don't be afraid, the Pool-series will be continued, I've already some new renders in my bag that need just a bit ironing ;o) But as Germany is about to go completely nuts at the moment I thought I'd join the collective madness - as more as I'm a handball fan since I was a child. What's that all about you ask (if you are from U.S.)... well, yesterday the german team won the handball world championship, some more infos about that game that is very popular in Europe (and, as far as I know, in some parts of Africa, Asia, South-America and Australia, too) can be found here: http://www.ihf.info/front_content.php?idcatart=710 I highly recommend the Photo-gallery on this site for some very good action-photos that some of you may like as a reference for poses! A quick overview about what happened here yesterday and today: Sunday, 16.26: The hymns of Poland and Germany. Second minute: Goal for Germany. Third minute: Goal for Poland. Fourth minute: Goal for Germany (and so on). After the pause and 29 more minutes and 50 seconds of crime the game ended with a countdown and a result of 29:24 for Germany, the first gold medal for the german team after 29 years. WOW!!! The whole country gets completly mad, I'm calling Dad and we discuss every single goal *LOL*. There was a big party already in Cologne and we will have another one tomorrow here in Lemgo because several members of the team are from our town. Don't be afraid, I won't bore you any longer now! I just wish to say thank you to all the teams we enjoyed so much, a BIG congratulation, too, to the team of Denmark that won the bronce medal (very well deserved!) and to the boys from Poland that made the second place!! ...oh and: Norway won the President's Cup with a sensational 32:22 result. Very well done, guys!!! This is dedicated to tabala because she really made my day on Saturday, you are a true friend, my dear!!!, and to you, Leo, because you are and will always be my mate (and more, of course!). Thank you all for looking at this outburst of enthusiasm, I know that this is a bit unusual for me. But hey, even I know some things where I feel a mild patriotism, especially when it comes to "my" kind of sports (what is at most handball, ice hockey and dancing). Technical: Technical?! What for?? *LOL* No, seriously: clothes by Daz with a quickly made texture by me, hair is done by Neftis (DAZ), the ball is a freebie picked up at turbosuid, no postwork, harsh shadows left as is ;o) I added no watermark to this image, so if anyone likes to add it to his homepage or such please feel free to help yourself - I only ask for not using it comercially without my permission!

You knnow what I love more then anything about your images?/ The emotion they convey.. both the image and the details you give about them. Your faces are always so expressive and make me feel whatever emotion you have them portraying. I found myself looking at this image and reading the text and getting excited about a game I never heard of.. that my friend is good art!!

You know...if they wore translucent uniforms like that it might get a wider following. :D LOL. Congrats. Never seen the game and honestly thought it was more like a racquetball sized ball they used. I'll have to look into it more. Sounds quite exciting.

She looks so lucky ^^ Maybe You feel this a bit inside? No-- of course NOT LOL Brilliant work with the shader- next time we phone You have to tell me how You got this effect- very interesting and I loooove the colours ;) Well I think we German need some more patriotism now. We often have a discussion about German, prod and patriotism these days. The city govournment of Potsdam wants a new City palace. What means they want to rebuilt the old one . This splits the Potsdam-people in two parties:one again and one for the rebuild. An often used argument against the rebuild is that when this happens we could ignore that the Germans have started two wars in the last century. I agree, this COULD happen, but it's not sure. In fact I am sick of the victim roll Germany takes although over 60 years are gone and the generations of Germans who live here now did not take part in the wws at all- even our parents did not. So I highly recommand the winning of sportsgames. This is the best sollution to fight against each other without war. And don't say thanks for this sunday- am glad I could help you , you know this kuddling hugz

I like the pose, but I don't like the hard lighting. You did that in several of your other pictures. I don't like it because it blends out the details. I understand why you did it but it is not my taste :-)
