Description

"Sovereign of Faith" By David J. Reid aka "Shardz" Software Used: Poser 5, Vue Esprit 5, Photoshop CS Enlightenment of the faithful and glorious prosperity to the devoted; we conquer anything in our paths by following our hearts and souls as a beacon of truth. Oblivious to any perilous surroundings, whether foreign or familiar, we uphold and defend the sacred virtues for which one proudly stands. The infidels in their cowering masses, unbeknownst such divine strength, mock the confident with such undying disdain and persistence; to possess a common primitive belief and burden the world with the ideal of negativity and disbelief. Cutting through this hatred like a blessed sword through thickened briars, marching eternally down the righteous path we have chosen to follow and to cherish within our souls. Forever rewarded shall those be who stay true to themselves, as well as others, by always leading a determined crusade for the greater good. Be this mission in vain or a quest for mortally unobtainable wisdom, we shall valiantly march forth through the ranks following the beaten path and walk in the footsteps of our Sovereign of Faith. *~* Image Notes *~* This scene was created in about five minutes, and the writing took me most of the week. LOL! Seriously, this project was probably the most complex yet devised by me; the rendering time took approximately twelve hours, and I chose to use nothing but Dreampaint

Wow!! This is a very detailed scene!! I love the trees-I've got to get a hold of those!! You did a fantastic job of setting all of the props-the perspective is really wonderful!! I love the way you add these cool effects in postwork, too!!! EXCELLENT image!!

Wonderful fantasy scene. Beautiful character and super lighting & postwork effects. Love those amazing Dreampaint props! Terrific texture on the stairs, too. Excellent work!!

Whut da heck of colours and lightning!! Beautiful colours really, that green is an eyes-catcher! Love your lightning here, and you used shaders for sure because is real beautiful the fire effect. A great touch in with a lot of effect that thingie (can't translate it lol) she holds in the hand. Beautiful, I truly love it, bravo!

Dear David, Another true labor of love! And I can well believe 12 hours of rendering. The back face culling and polygon clipping required on the plants is a rendering engine's worst nightmare. Did you do any layered rendering? Just curious. She's very lovely - you DO have a way with the ladies - the whole scene is lovely and you signature signature "electric" posts are as excellent as always. A Tour d' force, my friend! Love, Meredith

Absolutely mind boggling!! The detail is incredible, and my hat goes off to you for I would never have the patience to wait twelve hours for a render...I'm one of those "Instant Gratification" people LOL Truly a superb piece of work with your own special touch. Definitely gets my V

A real work of art, I just think this is just awesome. You really outdid yourself with the scene. Everything is just perfect. The stair texture just adds the finishing touch. Wonderful work.
