Description
Somewhere in our childrens lifetime,
we’re offered lots of bars and sweets.
We scare the neighbours and some others,
but do we realy know our deeds.
This fest came from the North of England,
where all poor children sang their song,
to the wealthy and fortunate,
who gave them cakes for their sing alongs.
Today we dress as ghost and light the pumkins.
Together standing at the gates.
Some will ask us to come singing,
but also some have to do their prayers.
Prayers for a new tomorrow.
Food or work they just have lost.
Strange it is that from their savings,
they give all their best, although it cost.
