Me, I prefer the former! I hate to see classic tin torn up in a drag race or other ways.
Its okay if the body is a replica, but I hate seeing the original tin being wasted!

Unfortunately, the steel bodies are not "tinned" or galvanised in any way. There would be a load more beautiful rides still taking to the streets and dare I say it, tracks?

I also like them original. But when it's a shell of something where a lot of originals still exist, i don't care. Nice scene!

The road less traveled offers up its gifts of new discoveries and oft times delicious surprises!

Shall I compare thee to a V8, with its roaring over powering resonance, or are you more inclined to favor the small four, with its docile temperament and loyal service?

Prestige and respect come in many forms. Are you content to accept and share your given talents or are you seeking to wow the world with your pretended importance demanding everyone to notice and appreciate your magnificence?

A spot on title for this very nice vintage car composition. Making cars and racing them sounds like the most enjoyable combination, doesn't it?! 😎👍💚

A very wonderfully nostalgic scene, RRD. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice scene you have created here! I for one, like the restored cars as collectibles, but I am also on the side of Racing. The choice is often a tough one, that has to be weighed against each other! Excellent and very well done! I like it! :-)

Fun colors for cars! And the conversation participants are staying an appropriate "social distance" apart :-)

I'm with you 100% on the restoring option. It's a real shame to tear up these classics on a drag strip...
Gorgeous work on 'em both, Bill!

I always like a purple car. You could paint a Yugo purple and I'd like it. lol... find a Yugo model, that would be fun... oh wait, I found one on cgtrader. There must be a free one somewhere. I think you could have a blast putting a Yugo next to a muscle car. Endless possibilities for a fun storyline there. Oh wait, I just found a free one on turbosquid.
