Description

Another pic from our holiday. This is my step-son having a leisurely stroll on the beach at 4 in the morning... :) Oh how I miss this... I'm back at work today... no more holiday... no more loafing... just work... ugh... Well, guess someone has to do it... :( PS: I sharpened the image in Photoshop and also cropped the bottom a bit

Very good composition and good color. The placement of the sun, rolling waves, sunlight reflections and foreground figure all work very well together. One small issue though (...you knew that was comming from me). As long as you had it in PS, you might have straightened the horizon line (rotate 3-4 degrees clockwise) and then crop as necessary. Visually, a level horizon line is more important and less disconcerting than a skewed foreground line. (...that's the old (emphasis on old, 25-30 years ago) camera club participant, critic, judge in me talking). Also, it might add just a tad more beach under the feet of the foreground figure which would be my preference, so cropping the bottom imo was not necessary except as required because of rotating the image. As it is now, the foreground figure appears to be standing on the frame/border of the picture, like an added-on outside observer rather than in it as an integral and important part of it... Overall still an excellent photograph.
