Quite nippy here this morning, Rozanne, and it is nice to see some growth, that isn't a weed. Thankfully the clematis, on my verandah, are eventually showing some typically wayward growth at last, despite the dreaded hailstones on Thursday. Logging on to my PC today I heard what appeared to be an echo of my keyboard. I checked everything in the lounge, and then discovered that I had a visitor on my windowsill. This was a lively magpie, pecking at my window pane, in time to my old-style heavy keyboard use... ;o) It did not seem to want to move on, so I just left it there, although my son later encouraged it to leave. My camera battery was down, otherwise I would have tried to capture its cheeky demeanour. Just as long as it isn't that old Celtic omen that my gran used to mention, back in the glens.
