Description

Marlin got lost going to his grandmothers for the day. He knew it was going to be a bad day when he was thinking of other things and almost hit that old Cadillac just turning into the hospital. That close call really flusterd him. It didn't help that the chauffer driving the Caddy flipped him off as he skirted around the big car, bouncing over light rail tracks and nearly losing control of his old, pristine Chevy. After driving up and down streets for half an hour, Marlin finally saw a couple of good looking guys standing on the sidewalk by a pristine looking old multi-storied house. He stopped and waved at them and asked for help. They couldn't hear him with his windows rolled up. He parked his old Chevy and got out. Stopping in front of his car, he tried to be cool and casual and asked if one of them could show him how to get to Main Street. They looked at each other and burst out laughing. They told him that they would but could he help them first with some chores they had only just started thinking about doing. Well, after mowing their lawn, trim- ming some of the bushes and scrubbing out the toiles in their bathrooms, they told him he needed to eat. They had prepared a wonderful meal. They all sat down to enjoy it. Marlin had to admit it was a very delicious spread. The guys told him they had a vegetable garden downtown and grew all their own produce. That explains the good flavor of everything, Marling thought to himself. After the meal, the allowed Marlin to wash all the dishes by himself while one of them went into the living room and started reading a book. The other one went out the back door and when Marlin looked out the kitchen window, he saw that the other guy was by a small inlet doing some fishing. When he had finished washing the supper dishes, Marlin went outside to talk to the fisherman. M4 character. Rendered in Poser pro 2014. Post work in Photoshop 7.
