Peaceful and a beautiful title for a stunning image. I cannot honestly see how there is a need to improve upon this. Your colors are magnificent. Terrain is just right ... POV and lighting is magnificent. Water seems beautiful and serene. Again sometimes the simplest image creates the most stunning one. This is 'dramatic' in it's simplicity. :) Just an art lover who appreciates fine work...

Really a stunning work! One of the best I've seen lately, yet so simple. I love that. :) I think room for improvement is there, but is small. I would look at making the snow distribution a bit more realistic - it is nicely varied now, but seems a bit too patchy and random IMO, and does not seem to follow the lines of the terrain (not vertical so much as slope) as you would expect, even for fresh snow fall. Also it would be nice to see the clouds lit up a bit more. With this hazy an atmospehre it may be realistic for them not to be, but they do look a bit dull considering the lighting. But overall this is gorgeous, and I'm just nitpicking because you asked for it. ;) Congrats. :)

A sublime atmosphere and mood. Love the colors and POV. Beautiful water. I don't know enough yet to critique your image, but I know I like it very much.

imho you could lower the reflection spread in the waterdialogbox to obtain a more realistic suntrail, anyway this is great stuff!

Wonderful atmosphere! I would decrease the amount of snow, and I agree about decreasing the water reflection spread.

I love it, simply beautiful. Since you asked, I might apply some sharpening at the reflection, cause I like to see the water waves breaking up the light a bit. Otherwise its perfect.

It never ceases to amaze me how differently people see images and how everyone has different perspectives, opinions and interpretations. Every comment above has made me re-think and re-evaluate what I will do for the future, especially Mr Big's comment (javajones ;-)) and that is why this site is so useful. Ultimately though we all have to follow our own path, but friendly constructive criticism does help my understanding of other's view points...Once again thank you all!!!!

Stunningly simple, amazingly beautiful. This is without a doubt one of the best digital landscape scenes I have seen, calm & peaceful, the colours & lighting are just stunning.I wouldn't change a thing, even the way you have framed & titled the image are spot on.I am a firm believer that less can most definately be more in art, this image proves that perfectly.Truly excellent work.
