Friggin' siiiick. I went through a few years in my life where I was really into playing chess and have always admired creative hand crafted sets. I would expect to pay over $1,000 for a set like this. You should render the "Army of Light" as well and do a split composition in Photoshop.

A really great idea, and very smartly put together and rendered. I'd love to see this in the flesh, it'd make a really great chess set - maybe you could get together with Sixus, hire a 3D printer, and market it! I bet it would sell. Whose merchandise would you choose for the white pieces, I wonder?
