Description

Woah! The first time I rendered this scene, I used the raytraced shadows: after 6 hours, the scene was rendered only at 25%. So I cancelled the render and I switched to the Shadow Maps: after 30 minutes I had the full scene rendered!! Well, the one with raytraced shadows had a better result, but I think also this one came out really nice! ^_^

raytraced shadows do horrible things to the render times but sometimes you just have to bite the bullet :$

You should have had more patience Marco.LOL! When I use raytracing I find it is the hair that takes up 75% of the render time, although with my new Core2 Duo system I can render a full screen portrait in 40 mins or less!! It helps if you dont enable shadows on every lightsource that you have in the scene, just the main directional one :)

Despite your problems on rendering you really managed to put good shadows and lights, anyway i think she merits to have her face more enlighted; good job on pose and composition, you did it very well!
