Description

As always i'm baffled at the image resizing algorithms on this site (if there are any at all and not just telling the browser to resize it to fit the box). It looks absolutely shoddy unless you click on it to "zoom in" on what is essentially a size of image i have had complaints about in the past for being too small @ 720px... Not that it looked that sharp in the first place (check exif on the right ;) )... but still. Enjoy! Rich

The most retrograde step rr made was to get rid of the default full-size view. Am sure there was a good reason for it but it's lost to me. Artists want you to see what they want you to see... enough said. In answer to your question on my blackbird photo "Details", I was lucky enough for the bird to sit there for a while, so once I figured out that I had a little time, I set the leftmost AF focus point on the eye (only ever use single point AF) in AF servo mode, using Canon's "plastic" but brilliant 100mm macro lens. Looks from this like the iPhone polarises images slightly. I've a Samsung S II which does the same. Holds onto highlights really well though (better than a Canon SLR anyway!!) Cheers, Steve
