Description

I was wanting to achieve a photo-like quality with this image. I was and still am abit unsure over the rather vibrant colors of the Irezumi tattoo's I provided for this piece. I find that the "less is more" style taken with some art work appeals to me and I wanted to convey that in this image. Also, I simply love oriental inspired themes. If you look at some of the old Japanese Master Painters, you can see how they speak elloquently of their desire in but a few brush strokes. All in all, I just hope you like it.

By the way, this is mostly all pure poser render. I used sharpen from Photoshop standard filters, but everything else is pure poser.

What an excellent image, the lighting is perfect, and the tattoo offers a beautiful contrast, I'm a sucker for asian themes myself, and I'd say you've done one bang up job!!

This is perfect and you certainly achieved the elegance with simplicity of typical Oriental art. Great piece...stunning, in face. You got my vote. Now why don't we see great stuff like this in the Top Twenty?

That is a Beautiful image ! Lovely color ! Do you have a larger version ? Say.. 1600x1200 ?? IT would make a beautiful desktop image. This would look wonderful with just a hint of volumetric lighting to it !

This is quite an image. The lighting is very good. The colors of the tattooed skin is excellent, and centers the scene. The pose is exceptional. My only suggestion it to add shadow under the hands and the foot where they are touching the floor.

Thank you for the invitation to view this image...probably one that I would have missed by just looking at a thumbnail. The colors are rich even in their muted tones. Excellent job!

Very nice pic! I like the contrast between the dark shadows and the vibrant color of the tatoo. The only thing different I'd like to see is a larger image with less compression so you couls see those fantastic details better!

Excellent tattoo! however, a coupe points about a tattoo: 1) Over time, the saturation fades. The black gets slightly bluish, and the rest starts to fade into the skin color. 2) A brand new tattoo is very shiny, and the surrounding skin is quite red. Beyond these notes, that is a remarkable image, and a wonderful tattoo job!

There is only one proper response to a piece of work of this caliber and that is to ...which I have just done. I salute you.

Just got your I.M. Good work! I agree with Xurge..the parts where hand and foot touch the floor seem a little funny, but the rest is really well done. -LW

I must agree with Valandar about the tattoo and I agree about adding shadows under the hand and feet, The lighting and Pose are both wonderfuly done. But I would also soften the outline of the figure just a bit to reduce the little bit of jaggedness there. But all in all a wonderful image.

WOW! The lighting in this is phemominal. Concept is just...wow! The only suggestion I would make is the edges seem a lil jaggy. Now I don't know if that is because you used the sharpen filter, or because I am on my mothers computer (cant wait to get home!! lol) and she's got some pretty funky settings that I dont dare touch! But it also might be the antialais (sp?) in Poser. Other than that very TINY detail, this is absoloutely amazing!
