Mom is most important dear, Barb. I hope she's doing ok. Looks like a good snowfall there, we've been lucky so far here, no snow at all this month to speak of. We will get hit hard in March / April . Nice capture my friend, take care of you both.

I know you've had a whale of a winter out there, and I also know (more importantly) that you've been caring for your mother for a while now. There should be a special place in the heavens for people who do what you're doing: It's a constant commitment, it can be very emptying, and it takes a great deal of time and effort. I hope your mother is doing ok, and I hope you're doing ok; you deserve to be doing ok, with all you're doing. Your image is a real winter shot, with those deep grays and a bit of blue in them (maybe a little green). The kind of northern light that dominates in winter. And a beautiful spindly bush with all that clinging snow---it's like fleece, or even some kind of batter. And it spills and shoots into the shot---with a landscape that looks open and winter-desolate. (It may have homes and other things to either side, but in your crop it's a big open field.) Beautifully done, Barb, and I wish you all the strength and light in the world in caring for your mom. And thank you once more for always coming to my gallery when you're here, and commenting on all that I do. You're always very kind and perceptive, and I appreciate that you do that, given your lack of time (and my not-so-easy to view stuff). I greatly appreciate it. I wish you peace and renewal in the weeks ahead.
