the first time I was able to see the mountain without fog/clouds. A Navajo lady at a motel told me where to go to get closer on a rough dirt road the mountain holds religious meaning to the Navajo it is west of Farmington,New Mexico

I don't think I've seen shiprock from this angle before. A breathtaking photo, Richard! Seems like most of these formations have spiritual meaning to Native Americans.
