Description
I've been wanting to add a glossy sheen to stuff for a long time. This is a first attempt to do that using the REality-3 addon for Poser (using LuxRender). Worked pretty well. needs some tweaking.

I've been playing with reality 3 but it seems to take forever to render, probably my computer, anyway i'll battle on. Nice work by the way.

Luxrnender takes CONSIDERABLY longer to render than Poser's native Firefly render engine. No doubt about it. I've been playing with Lux for a week, and what I do is set it up before bed and let it run all night and all day when I'm at work. Seems to me that a 12 hour render looks the same as a 24 hour render. Not enough difference to matter unless you're a professional, probably. For the Reality-3 fans out there, here's how I got the shiny look (settings courtesy of Paolo, the creator of Reality-3 who gave me the tips): - Right click on the material - Select "To Metal" - Enable the "Custom metal" checkbox to use the original texture - Raise the Polish level to 9400
