Description
After waiting for five hours and not seeing it hit the 1% mark, I decided to abort the render. Honestly, I just wasn't feeling it. I think the idea is good, it just... doesn't click with me. Also, the vinyl above her head had some issues, creating those weird square blocks that I don't have the skills to correct in post.
Overall, Zenobia looks great. I love the skin, no matter green or human. I've got some plans for her, and after seeing just how well she's rendered up I think she'll do quite fine. Next I'll have to give her some nice pointy ears. She'll be used in some fantasy renders I've got planned.
However, she also came with a Gen 7 version, and I've got some fun Gen7 spacesuits I want to play with, so maybe we'll also showcase her in her intended "alien" mode as well. Hmmm. She really is a nice model.
Hair is Sidecut Bob with dForce from Daz, Vinyl is from the Pliable Plastic shader set. Lounge is from Most Digital Creations, everything else will be listed below. Used an HDRI from one of brain1969's sets, hence the credit.

I wonder why it didn't want to render. It looks like the pixilation is all in the background, though, which actually works for this picture.

Yeah. It was bizarre, but I think it's ok overall. At least her hair looks flawless. That's usually where' I'll see pixelation.

She's a great character and rendered very well as did the hair. Not sure what's hanging up your render. I'm sure you have checked, but could you have 3Delight maybe mixed with Iray things? That gives me fits.

All iray. A 3DL texture wouldn't sparkle in iray mode. (learned that the hard way.) Thanks for having a look!

I think maybe something about the shape of the lounge, and the way the light is hitting it, may be causing the issue. Because the shader set I used on it is iray-only. Thanks for the feedback.

Yeah, software does some weird things sometimes... I spent most of today doing damage control from the latest Windoze updates... And dealing with fighting the issues Rendo is having ATM...
Anyway, she does look pretty sweet - even if she is green! LOL I'm green with envy! Sweet work, my friend!

A question for you. Did you use square lights? If so, then I know what those two blocks are from. They are from the box lights.

Oddly enough, I used the "disc" option on a spotlight. It's an oddity that will remain for now, I guess. If I get it again, I will be sure to investigate it further.
