Description

Breaking News: Rod's Lair is offline for a while!!! Queen Zlata is shouting out order to get all water-fae over to the absolute main headquarters of T.N.A as there was major flooding overnight. Crews are working hard to rip out old carpet and dry things out. until all damage is assessed, RodS will be off-line. Updates when events dictate. Just got a call a little bit ago from Rod - apparently the rain that they received last night was more than they thought and water came into the basement. Rod is busy ripping out the old carpet and drying things out. Until further notice, RodS Lair is down. send him all the best wishes possible Thank you

Thanks for letting everyone know, Mike - and with such a fun render. I can sure use a smile about now..

When I went downstairs to get my work phone, there was about 2 - 2 1/2 inches of standing water. I don't know yet how much damage to equipment I have - I'm not turning anything on for a couple days, or until I can give them a thorough inspection (I'm on one of the laptops now). I think the computers will be OK - I hope.

Anyway, I'll be away for a week or two while I do damage control. See you all as soon as this mess is taken care of...

Good luck with that, Rod. You'll have to make sure everything is bone dry or you could get mold which can be deadly. Or you could just put in a good air circulation system and turn the whole thing into a basement swimming pool. And what is going on with the fae in the corner, Mike? She looks like she's about to throw up.

Your ebot just arrived this moment (which is odd, because I got several from earlier that were on time): Thanks so much for telling us about Rod! I'll go to his gallery right after this---I'm really sorry he had such flooding! Having seen his videos, I feel like I know his basement now, and it must be a nightmare to have it covered in water, and all the loose detritus that water dredges up. I hope he and Jo can get it under control quickly, and be able to use the electricity again. At least Rod knows a lot about these things, which has to make it at least a little easier...If you see this, all the best, Rod! I hope you can get things back to normal soon!

Love the image, Mike, and the fae in the corner (which Mark thinks is vomiting---great take, lol). (She does look a little sick...) Love the shock on Zlata's face, and the intense lighting, like someone set the room up for a film shoot...like Rod says, a fun way to send wishes to him and Jo, when they're not having fun by anyone's standards. I'll be back for more tonight, but wanted to acknowledge this news, and thank you for letting us know. Hope all is well with you, and thanks for your amazing comments.
