This is an alternative history picture. Well, but not far away from reality. The Audacious class was an aircraft carrier class of three ships, Audacious, Eagle and Irresistible (after the loss of Ark Royal in 1941 she was renamed Ark Royal). Two of them were laid down in 1942 Audacious and 1943 Ark Royal. Just before laid down, Eagle was canceled in 1944. Audacious was then renamed Eagle in the same year. Just after WW2 the work was suspended for a while and they were finished in the 50ies. So, here you see Audacious as she would have been if she was finished as planed.
The next alternative history is the Sea Hornet, you can see on catapult in front. Sea Hornet was tested on an aircraft carrier but was never used on an aircraft carrier. The small British carriers were too small for this aircraft and the Audacious were never finished in the time of piston engine aircraft.
You can now puzzle what aircraft are parked on the stern of the carrier. There are three models.

Beyond impressive! Masterful! The models and textures are terrific, and your attention to detail is inspiring. Great work that gets better and better each render. I'm especially impressed with your texture work on the carrier. I always look forward to your renders.
