This is Rodolfo a interesting bird. My friends and handlers tell me.. no is ugly, is only diferent. LOL This bird is in spanish Alimoche Sombrio (Aegypius monachus), o Buitre Encapuchado, I dont know in english. Yesterday.. in the show placed very close to me and I took this portrait, and I wanted to shot to you.. This pink colour on head depend the animous state. I'm not an expert of birds around the world but my guess is it is called a Black Vulture or Eurasian Black Vulture. The bald face tells me it is a scavenger or one that primarily cleans up after the carnage. :-) A beautiful bird who is powerfully built with a razor sharp beak. Stellar shot, Luis!
