Description

Done in Bryce and painter. I got the idea for this image from a book I just finished called Eragon. I'm sure it's not an accurate depiction of this ficticious town, but the book was definitely inspiring. Thanks for viewing and I hope you all have a happy New Year. Michael

what an awesome way to start the new year with one of your magnificent works of art...this may not be an accurate depiction, but I'll bet there's none more beautiful...I can almost feel the breeze through the trees and hear the clip-clopping of the horse's hooves...wonderful work Michael, and Happy New Year...wishing you only the very best of everything this year! just stunning...georgous work, just amazes me how you can turn the Bryce software into a very realistic image. I like the wildflowers ,weeds, the trunk of the tree and just about everything else too. I may ask you if you can render your next images a little bigger size so I can see the details better. :)

Such crisp clear detail of the foliage, is any part of this a photograph? I think the scene is composed in a really refreshing way, so many of the fantasy images are dark and spooky, or have unnatural sorcerous colors. The simple elegant contrast of the rider emerging from the shadows of the trees to the bright sunlit town is really eye pleasing and doesnt sacrifice any of the fantasy feel at all. Its great to have the light available to appreciate the details of the medieval buildings in the distance. Beautiful gallery addition!

Well, what can I add to these comments that hasn't been mentioned? Your amazing style prevails yet again for such a gorgeous image of a romantic era hat I believe has inspired so many great artists! The crisp details are always evident and abundant in your work, and this image is no exception! A truly remarkable piece of artwork in itself! Outstanding work and Happy New Year!!
