Description

These are human enemies for my Macross pilots, and will be piloting what I will call human/alien hybrid mecha (the Solinoid Mogwai-Esu by theschell). Giving them enemies finally gives me ideas to illustrate other than having the Macross pilots flying aimlessly or mucking around at the airbase all the time. This is actually my first use of Poser's Rex, and ridiculously, my first M4 character next to him. They're all wearing old and newer stuff I've had forever and have barely used, converted to fit where necessary. Again, I couldn't get what I wanted out of the Poser lighting, so Photoshop to the rescue! I'll probably do a less stylized render later if only to give myself a better group shot of the characters.

As usual, villains are cooler and more trendy than good guys! What is the meaning of the color differences? Rank or specialization? Or just fashion? Great faces and poses! Bravo!

Yes! The villains give me so many ideas... The colors on the suits generally just help to distinguish between characters, like the regular Macross flight suits. Thank you!
