Description

They are in a darker place of the North East back garden.... Atleast in the afternoon it is darker and that is when I took this shot. I do have a flowerbed here, but the deers cannot let it alone and it is har to fence it, so i gave up on it, but the Rhubarb and a Fern are still in the flowerbed. They feel good there, so I dont have the heart to move them away. Have a continued great weekend. No change of weather in our area. Still hot and no wind and no rain. OH! and now I´ll go and water all the pots.

Ah. A stick of Rhubarb and a little bag of sugar. Kids don't even do that nowadays. Thanks for the memories.

Wow, you have the whole shebang in this wonderful shot, Helle. Is that hogweed down at the bottom? And it's hot here too.

no, it is just weed. This is the late herbs bed, where the deers ate it all. I am fed up of that, so now it is elsewhere. We dont have Hogweed in our garden. It was in Copenhagen in a now reclaimed area, which wasnt there, when I was young. It is built with bricks and concrete from demolished buildings.

A lovely photo, Helle. Too bad about the deer using your garden as a smorgasbord - they're bad about that.

I always enjoy the wild areas that don't require any maintenance. :)

I read your explanation for the 'double upload' under Harry's comment (in the next version)---I saw it as soon as it went up, and had every intention of writing to you immediately---but I see I didn't. (=I was so tired last week, I missed a number of things I though I'd done.) Sorry I never actually sent you the note. Maybe I dreamt I did...but hey, you get two sets of comments instead of one, at least...

Anyway, The flower stalk just whooshes across all those greens, and this is a very full and on-fire shot. It actually looks like a spurt of white flame shooting out of all that green. So much variety and light and shadow. I love this, Helle. Very intense and rich. A cornucopia!
