Description


The ship was slowly floating on the calm sea, the fresh air too still to blow her veil. Men had stopped rowing and had pulled together to the bow, leaving her to drift. They stood looking at the sheer rocks barring the path to the waves. Then, almost at a sudden, the wall of stone seemed to open its embrace to the sea. Some were breathless, some others, quite to the contrary, drew a deep breath, one even claimed the sea breeze finally won on his eyes and quickly dried them with an hand
