Description

It had been several decades since I'd visited Reno, Nevada. I grew up in Sacramento, California - just a couple hours drive away - and had visited frequently in the day. Back in those days it had been a bit rundown. I'd been hearing good things about Reno lately so I decided to include it in my fall road trip last year. I was pleasantly surprised. The downtown area is like a mini-Las Vegas - several lavish hotel casinos, nice restaurants, etc. They've build a beautiful park along the Truckee River - including a white-water kayaking course and the National Automotive Museum is a few minute walk of wear I took this shot. I was also fortunate that a light mist in the air added star-filter and softening to this shot. Enjoy

I went to the auto museum and enjoyed it a lot. I agree there has been an improvement with the parks along the river. the problem with Reno casinos are they are too far apart. nice capture of the sign

Haha, I was there in July 1986 and the Slot Machine gave me endless 5 Dollar Bucks!!! I needed a bucket to get all together! It was just great because we had no more money for the weekend 😂 I never was in a Casino / play hall before - great remembers! superb foto! 5 Stars for you!
