Description

Hi everyone. Another HDRI fake, hope you like it. ____________ This image is for a wonderful friend, Meli aka gallimel. Hope to make you smile, Melania :) I think you'll recognize the place I used to light the scene, and... sorry for the "town", but in the title "city" sounded so bad... ;-) ____________ Some info: rendered at 1100x880 with PremiumFX (softshadows and DOF) at 256rpp. The only light in the scene is provided by the fake HDRI sphere (sunlight disabled), with the help of a single greyish radial, value=1 to help the softshadows. Rendertime about 6 hours. Minor color correction in Photoshop. Ground mat is from Lemog, with a cloud texture in channel B to drive reflection and specularity. ____________ Thanx for stopping by and, as usual, any comments and/or criticism are more than welcome. Have a wonderful weekend, Stefano. :)

Hi Stefano! What a surprise that we all uploaded at the same time! I love your image...love the reflection in the balls. I like seeing the town in the reflection too. That's very cool! I also love seeing the couples feet in the corner. Her foot is slightly kicking up, so she must be getting a kiss from her lover! Ultra romantic!

Hi Stefano! Heee, i love this, what i can see in the unsharpen background! It depends on the "little things" which often put out the essentials! The textures and the so arranged scene are wonderful! (Vote and fav) :-)

I cannot believe Bryce is capable of this. Most impressive work. You really must write a detailed tutorial on how you do this sort of thing. Outstanding work here.

Hey thats great I like those hdri, even fake ! On criticism if you allow me, is that the spheres are too perfect : the bumps can not be seen on the circonference. Anyway, very good work !

That ground mat is very impressive, and the realistic look is exceptionally striking. Man, the things you can accomplish on a rainy day in Meli's town!

6 hours!? WE BETTER LOVE IT! Sakes that's a long render, it's cuz of that hdri thingy isn't it? Looks very realistic and I feel I could look up and be in Florence or Firenze. :) I think she'll love it. Even more so that you did this for her! Great Job!
