Description

Out for a Sunday afternoon shoot with Tara (auntietk) and Denise (MrsRatbag), we were looking for moss, lichen and all those things that grow so well in the very wet areas of the Northwest. Well worth a ZOOM. Bill:) "Mutually Charmed" thumb_2012074.jpg

I have a weakness for moss, and so I must hit the northwest coast as soon as I can, especially since I'm supposed to be heading that way anyway! Just for shots like this. I love the beads of dew and the intense autumnal-moss colors! This is simply fantastic. Great DOF as well...and now I'm sitting here wondering just where you took this shot...did you have to lay flat on your belly to get it, or did you cheat and just photograph moss growing at or near eye level? Not that it matters it's a great shot in any event!

Fantastic image. Have to ask: how tall are the red spires (on average). And are these droplets really rain, or heavy dew, or is there a difference out that way?
