Fantastic shot my friend and very great lights also !!!

Very well-polished steel rails, glowing in the morning sunshine; seems like all of our tracks around here are being removed and the right-of-ways turned into walking/biking trails. Probably less likely to cause an inadvertent loss of life, but I miss the sound of trains. Great capture, Harry!

Great shot of these railroad tracks with the sun reflectiong on them. I wonder if it is a stray dog I see near the sofa:

I agree with Denise and Bill ("brilliant"). And kudos to Helle for seeing the sofa back there (and yeah, it does look like a stray dog is back there). Upfront: A fascinating background, filled with urban detritus galore---that sofa and other unnamable things, the buildings behind, a long garage-like structure off to the top-right, the fence: It's filled with urban back-alley sights, and very rich. But the tracks are the thing, and they shimmer like a pure abstract set down in the midst of gritty urban America. In parts, the tracks seem made of glass. Then you have your signature gritty road and sidewalk too, with all your usual high details. And shadows and light beams too. And your signature early morning light---here, bleak, intense and penetrating. The angle of the tracks makes a terrific intercession to the rest of the shot. And the way those track shine---wonderful eye, Harry. A terrific multi-leveled shot. Love it.
