Looks like a ski area in the summer. I am pretty sure I know those trees because I ran into all of them whilst skiing. Is it the Grand Tetons? It's a beautiful picture wherever it is.

Hi, View on Half dome in Yosemite coming from the Tioga Pass, (following the Tioga Pass Road) most likely "the" or around the Olmsted Point.(?)if wrong ...... At least we drove this road in may /June 2007, high in the mountains there was still a lot of snow and ice, however the Tioga pass was open and it was quite a temperature shock coming from Death Valley to this area, we traveled with a RV (recreation vehicle) . Its such an interesting area, thanks for posting Henk

Oh, my back yard (almost). Yosemite is "near" San Francisco, if I may use the word "near". Nice that Hedepo got it before I saw it. Really nice photo! Keep up the good work! :-)
