almost like a primal mask, Emilio, or an ancient/prehistoric 'animal face'. I love the way it dissolves around the edges; and your primal & playful forms painted on the surfaces (in that "Lascaux" brownish-red). You get intersections of forms that are mysterious & yet completely natural. So while this is mysterious, it feels as if you found it in a cave, and took it out & cleaned it so we could enjoy it---it's that real. Beautiful work, Emilio: The world should be beating down your door, as your art is always superlative. It's just gold...and as natural & right as a spring rain...
