Long before the destined king would set foot on hallowed Clerin, Giles Vasilios became one of the shadow agents of Omega Sector. After weathering Doctor Kiranna Starr’s enhancement procedures as a subject of Project: Warrior, Giles emerged as another of their great successes, second only to Warrior himself, Garrett Grey. Giles took up the codename Perseus, in honor of the great hero of Greek myth who slew the Gorgon, Medusa, and freed fair Andromeda from a sea monster before becoming King of Mycenae. A fitting name for a man who would one day ride among the stars and become king of an ancient kingdom. Like Garrett and the others of Project Warrior, Perseus was highly trained in all aspects of warfare, and enhanced in both body and mind. He would remain second in power to Garrett until leaving Earth to walk among the stars and accumulating for himself powers beyond the scope of Omega Sector’s ambitions, including the magic of Clerin. Specifically, that of the mental powers that the Warriors develop. Hence the glowy thing on Perseus’s forehead and the Omega symbol therein.
