Description


Experimenting with procedures in Lightwave to re-create rust. I was inspired by the many photographers who took the time to study the topic.

Great work, I would say you have rust pretty well down. though I feel it could look a bit more flaky some how..

Yeah, maybe flaky is the word... The rust and also the bump on it seems a bit too uniform. Rusting is a 'random' proces, so maybe try somethin less evenly spread. Leavig some parts unrusted and a random area rusty colored and bumped might make take this from the 'nice job' level to the 'excellent job level'.
