Poolgames 2012 - No. 3 by SaintFox ()
The third image in my Poolgames series, the red three, represented by an asian beauty in a glittery dress.
Mikeerson brought up a good and interesting point: The impressions we (or some of us) have when reading a number, seeing a color and so on. It's called Synesthesia, a kind of 6th sense some people have. We already had this discussion with the last poolgames-series. Here you can read more about it (in english):
And I found that I am more inspired by the colors than by the numbers - although I think that blue suits the 2 perfectly well. Matching the two with the tiny and kind of shy looking GND4 and the yellow one with the tall and proud looking Shiloh to me was quite natural. And as the 3 to me has something exotic, even more with that rich and dark red I could not resist to again represent it by Youko. But you all, please, make your own decisions, maybe make your own synesthetic series (and let me know it!).
Technical: Some partial renders where needed to stuff it all (glitter, SSS, fresnel, IDL, reflections) in the pretty large original format (2500 pixels in height). Postwork was only combining the renders, adding some strands of hair and adjusting the brightness and contrast (what I hardly ever do but here it was necessary).

she fits the 3 nicely... the shade of dress is a little tricky though... the 3 is more a bright red, your true red where the 7 ball red is more "Burnt"... If this dress is like a happy middle between the two reds... as for the matching of 3, the 3 has always made me think of E - even has the e sound... as I was growing up, Bruce Lee was my idol, I associated him with the letter E because of LEE and the 3 fit in... he was into martial arts, so fighting drew blood - and there is your match with red - so with her looking oriental, this fits with how I see things - I don't necessarily think there is a golden rule when colors and numbers have to be a certain way, but I think in some weird way we feel or know certain rules that where it's like communication - we mostly see the same things.
I love them all , and am exited to see you using again the reflect rubber mats , as you did for the last Billard collection already :) That shows to me my stuff is still not outdated LOL This one is my most fav so far, just because- and red is my fav colour .... imagines that dress material as nailpolish XD
