"Pocksey Pete" aka Peter Smith, Peter Jones, Peter Worthington. Adventurer, Tavern bouncer, Grave/tomb robber, Murderer, Swindler, Fence and Drunkard. He contracted Sea pox a few years back from stolen Quillian grave goods, so now for 6-10 days every 5-8 weeks he has a breakout of pocks. It's best not to touch him or be touched by him during these outbreaks, as that is when he is contagious and the meanest. He says killing something doesn't cure the pox but sharing the misery makes him feel better during an outbreak.

Love the character description! The text is very flavorful and really brings him to life. The visual design is very good, too. I like the subtle pox marks on his arm, and I really like the look of his hair. I'm also pleased that you had him doing something and had the vision to put the mug partly over his face – too many artists, myself included, tend to have the face completely visible in a portrait, and it often diminishes the realism of the art. My one criticism is that you are being sabotaged by your lighting. Simply put, we can't see the face clearly enough to appreciate the work you put into it. There's nothing wrong with a character being partly hidden in the shadows because that can contribute to a sense of drama. But in this case, he's not lurking in the shadows, he's just in dim lighting. Although that may be realistic it doesn't make for an image that showcases your work. I would suggest adding an off camera light to our left so that some stronger light falls on him and not the background (because I do really like those candles behind him). This would bring some emphasis to his face and let us enjoy your work even more. Anyway, sorry to ramble on so long. I really appreciate the hard work you put in here. BRAVO!
