I think that dogs don't understand why human people are so stupid that they threw away many times balls that they keep back home later. Maybe dogs think that they are far less stupid than human people and carry back as many times as necessary the ball....till their master understand that the ball must be kept home....till the next time. That is a possible explanation for Rex's serious face.

That is such a great photo. I think it has the perfect balance of crisp detail and blur. I love how the light is catching his eye. He does seem incredibly intent and focused.
