Description
Part of a long term project, this is a highly detailed and accurate piano model, modelled and rendered in 3dsmax.
The initial top pic was rendered with only max's scanline renderer, the bottom 2 pics were rendered with Vray.

They were rendered a fair while ago.... 2001-2002? was one of the last public beta's of Vray before it went to ver 1.0

Well done dude,as a pianist i can say the model is marvelous. Please change the notation sheets with a music book or something like that cos they look fake. Also an idea is to add some very very thin random scratches (make them like straight hair on the floor)on your bump maps , it will make it perfect Great work

Very realistic. Looks like a brandnew piano first time played. How about making an animation with synchronuos midi :-) BTW the initial 3dsmax looks better than the Vray.
