Description
From time to time, I attempt photorealistic renders. This one comes pretty close, IMO.
PoserPro 11. Superfly. Slight desaturation in Photoshop. oh and btw ... it's David.

David looks amazing--I don't remember him having this many polygons (or hair!) before!

Thanks :D The hair is partly a simple displacement (the scalp texture plugged into the displacement channel), partly texture. As for the beard, I used the Millennium Beard for David, made an "unshaven" displacement/transmap in Photoshop (simple noise filter over white), and again, thanks to the wonders of displacement, it sticks out :D
Oh and I did subdivide him - and the beard once in PP11.
