Description

I don't often do fan art, but with this set, something just clicked within me. And finally, I found a use for a spacesuit that I just never really liked. I bought it, but it just never really clicked with me. But as I was looking through what I had to approximate Joanna Dark's costume from Perfect Dark, this spacesuit found it's spotlight. This is the first of two renders. Really, it's the second, but the first I completed because I was tweaking something and liked where the camera was at, and decided "Hey, why not!" (Yes. I was moving her finger off the trigger. Trigger discipline is always important!) I got the "main" render going now, the one I set up for. It should pop up sometime mid-morning I suspect. Now that Rachel got her costume on, I might go for another pose/position. Just because I can. Maybe her girlfriend will visit the set. The server room is air-conditioned, right? I think it can handle the heat that erupts whenever I put them in the same scene! Same lighting as before. Outfit is "Space Uniform for Genesis 8 female" Hair is still Greer hair, and the model is still Rochelle. (Still my best gal!) Set is, of course, the upcoming Project Sirius by brain1969! Give him a round of applause! ~~LA P.S. I think this is the best fan art I've done so far.

The original Perfect Dark was one of my favourite games, so this is properly nostalgic for me! Nice angle and tight framing, works well!

Thanks. Something about the set was tickling my fancy. And then when I was selecting a model, Rochelle (as Rachel) was practically jumping up and down. From there, it just clicked. Of course, we had that slight detour...
