Description

Another landscape. I feel it is not as good as the others, mostly due to the fact that I did not use the foliage transparency technique for the trees nor for the grass, however I did use it for the bushes leaves and flowers, which is where it counted most. I find that pines usually look better without foliage transparency due to the complexity of the spiky pine leaf models. Lit with my usual outdoor lighting rig. Quite by accident, the sun altitude is very similar to the most recent landscape I developed. The scene is too detailed to be saved as a source file in this complete form, but I do have previous incarnartions. Bryce actually allowed me to save the scene up to the point of adding in the flowers, the bushes were already in place. The bushes and flowers are all made from Bryce trees. I may prepare a tutorial soon on making flowers with the Bryce tree lab. All Bryce! Except for the birds, naturally, they are from DS. Feedback is most appreciated. Thanks all for your time.

Incredibly rich foliage... a quiet stream indeed. Like the way plant emerge from waters. Waiting for your tutorials whenever they're ready !

Love this Rashad!! What a nice change to see blue flowers in a render - quite apart from anything else, I've always particularly loved your foliage renders, very inspiring!

Cool pic ! I would rather love to see a pathway disappearing into the woods than this expanse of water

Very nice - are we going to get an incite into this celebrated outdoor lighting rig?
