Sure, they love nature, so they have to kill the creatures who live free in it. They have to mantain balance, because God doesn't know how to do it. ....!! They kill because they like to do it! They feel "Men" because they they faced and defeated a very fierce and dangerous hare, risking their life and armed only with a modern 12-gauge shotgun.

the balance of nature is gone because man killed the big cats and foxes that feed off the rabbits. so now man have to kill the rabbits. which is good to eat for sure.
