Description

It's been awhile since my last post. I have started this scene months ago, but have only finished it this week. As you can see it is a court of basketball found in a street of America. In the background you can see a city, yes it is New York. It is a photo I found from the net and added it on a 2D panel so it will give the scene a more really look. Thanks to Thomas M. for his great photos of graffiti. I have cleaned the graffiti and add them to the bricks texture, that you can find it free at Mayang website. The floor texture is by Mayang, but I have added the lines of the basketball court. Render with Sun light only. Built & rendered in Bryce 5.5. Rendering time 27 min at 2000 x 1399 pixels. Bryce document size 214 MB. Sharpening image and signature in postwork. Ball by Kuroyume, Basketball Hoop and Tire by One-Commune, Fence by M25yucka, Card Box by Stereoping, AC Window / Short Stack by Baument Ent., Tank and Pipes by Richabri, Newspaper / Cola Can / Trash Bag by Trekkiegrrrl, Spray by Fast3D, Coca Can & Wires are by 3D Cafe. Thanks very much to all for your stuff. (Some objects with a new texturing created by me). As always, thanks for viewing & all comments are appreciative. Visit my gallery for more 3D artworks. Special thanks to my friends for helping me with ideas. Have a great day and play more basketball!

Adrian, I thought this was a photo when I first saw it. Incredible realism!!! I love the little details, like the coke can, the wet newspapers, the cracks in the concrete, and, of course, the grafitti. In fact, I think I'm gonna add this one to my favs.

What a treat this is!. I always look forward to your uploads but this one really thrills me. Astonishing details and texture mapping. Not too many can do this kind of texture work in Bryce. The lighting is another amazing feature of this image. Really wonderful.

Great environment render... Yet somehow there's something nagging me that it looks too clean. Maybe it's the windows, or the fact none of the tagging overlaps, or the garage door is too nice, no weeds, there's no litter collecting by the drain or in the corners...
