Description

Late afternoon sunshine... The texture and detail in ArtMatic terrains is amazing. This image should be seen full sized to be fully appreciated. Comments welcomed. I have heaps more of my ArtMatic Pro and Voyager images here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/maleny_steve/

Thanks for the nice comments. ArtMatic Voyager is truely amazing as you can zoom into the terrain and continue to see complex details. And the largest size renders are huge allowing printout to impressive poster sized prints. In my perfect world the combination of all that's best in ArtMatic textures, Voyager landscapes and skies, Bryce scene composition and trees, DAZ Studio/Poser figure posing, Wings 3D modelling, Photoshop tweaking and Studio Artist texturing of the finished image would be available in the one package... with real time rendering :-)

I achieved this by setting the lowest camera angle over water, maximum zoom, and setting the sun colour, position, haze colour etc optimally for the desired reflected colours on the rock textures (the rocks were dull grey with maximum wetness applied).
