Description

A beam weapon inspired by the anime classic "Akira". Just thought I would toss an untextured mesh up here to keep my gallery from going stale. Thanks for dropping by to view this image.

Excellent work! Only question for me is if the carry handle is really in the center of weight, which I would expect to be further back. Perhaps you should also make the thumbhole in the grip a bit bigger. The military prefers weapons that can be fired, even when the soldiers have to wear cold weather gloves. Minor details, as you can tell. I love it. :D

i think a good model is already great before texturing... good texturing should give a model good textures.. not make the model work... i even think a good modeller is more a shader-man than a texture-man... great job, perfect moebius-detail/surface-contrast again... which you can't find much around renderosity, i have to say.

Stale gallery? NAH. Your reputation is too well established for that. LOL. I didnt see the movie so cant compare your rendition - but I suspect yours is better. :-).
