Description

Flowers by Joelle McAlpine, SF Ferry Plaza Market, yesterday. It's been great weather for the last fortnight, and the flowers are really coming thick and fast now! Plenty to work with, I made 28 photos! -*- This shot attracted me because it was full of good features, contrasts and depth. The camera moved slightly and the nearfield objects blurred. The dark purple and rich yellow and orange made my eyes vibrate. With Painter 8 cloners and palette knives I chopped up and smoothed the background, stroked and accentuated the edges, and smoothed the interiors. Trying to make it look more like acrylic or oil paint. -*- Thanks for viewing!
