Description

Norway, Fjaerland, Mundal Fjærland/ Mundal has about 300 inhabitants. I told you that in 1986 the road north to Skei was built (tunnel). It was opened by former U.S. Vice-President Walter F. MONDALE, whose family and name originated in Mundal in Fjaerland. When the family left Norway they changed their name into the english version. The last week was horror hot in germany about 105 degrees F! We are not used such high temperatures and we don't have airconditions in our houses like the americans have. I am thinking about to sleep in the shower! Wish you a better weather and thx for all welcome comments! ;o)

Ich hab' schon ernsthaft überlegt, im Keller zu schlafen ... Ein schönes Bild! Das orange Haus und das Boot sind super Blickfänge in der beinahe monochromen Umgebung!

Absolutely breathtakingly lovely; not all americans have air conditioning, in this area (Seattle) most don't, because usually it's not needed. But those that do have it have been using it a LOT lately as we've been in the 90s for an extended period of time. Hopefully it will cool soon!
