Description
The big guy appears content with his meager snack.
Captured back on 3/13/10, at the beautiful Los Angeles/Griffith Park Zoo in Los Angeles, California.
I almost forgot about the zoo.
A ZOOM view would be to your benefit.
Bye bye.

He does seem to be tasting them very carefully; wonderful capture of this large fellow, Harry! I never realized before how much their feet resemble hands.

Always makes me sad to see them in non green surroundings. Good picture though.

Somehow I feel sorry for the animals that live in the zoo, on the other hand, some animals would become extinct without zoos. A great shot of this hominid.

It's great that this has the "nudity" warning on it: I know that's necessary because of children, but he's pretty well protected, lol...Anyway, I know these beasts are vegetable-eaters, but if that's his meal, he needs to get a better job! That's one scrawny lunch...But he seems to be immersed in it---a capture of a great expression: an animal totally immersed. And looking at his left foot---our right---that's one big span between big toe and the other toes: I had no idea there was that big a span. (That dude could carry a redwood in those toes!) Also, when's the last time you could sit in that position without fear of never standing up again? I haven't been able to for 10 years. No back rest, sitting on rock? I get chills just thinking about it...A fine capture of an animal eating his lunch so peacefully. They oughta try upping the portions though...
