Description

A typically scenery of the Austrian side of the Bohemian Forest. Its the area where I live. High hills, narrow valleys and everywhere these curious cliff formations. These are remains of volcanoes from primeval times. Nearly each of these rocks has its own legend. Stories of good giants, bad dwarfs, good and bad witches or just from the devil. Unfortunately, the straw-covered roofs of the farm houses have disappeared. The cause are the expensive fire assurances for these houses. But sometimes you can see one more. Mostly of Houses of rich farmers.

wow Helmut this is awesome!!! I love the way your rocky mountain is slightly misty in the background, it gives so much more depth to the render and so realistic. I'd love to jump right into this image and live there a while, just soaking up the peace and the scenery! totally awesome render!
