You've done a very sensitive homage to jclP's work---you captured the soft lines and color-masses of jclP's work, and also the intensity. I love how you portray a 'mother and child' via elephants. The surrounding has a print-like feeling, like you made all kinds of patterns by hand, then "stamped" them onto the painting. It's very inventive. And the greens are set-off by those beautiful deep clay reds (in the elephants). Beautiful manipulation, Ute.
