Description

"Morrigan is the celtic goddess of death and destruction. The figure is usually shown armored. Morrigan always goes to battles in form of crow; her paper in war is to instil courage, force (and wrath) in the combatants. The name means "Great Queen" or "Spectral Queen". So Morrigan is the Queen of War, therefore of Death, but also depicts renewal, the death that gives birth to a new life, love and sexual desire. Life and Death are very united in the Celtic universe. very awsome image and the story behind it gives it much more depth. The thing on the shoulder farmaus is the crow symbolizing how she goes into battle. perfect symbol for the meaning of the image, if she represents death in battle the crow has always been associated with death as the carrier of souls between the land of the living and land of the dead.

Preciosa diosa. Ltima que tenga que ir vestida 8-) La iluminaci como siempre te queda perfecta. El detalle del brillo en el ojo del cuervo queda genial y da la sensaci de que sea un bicho mecico. El fondo estmuy bien. Excelente composici. Voto.
