Description
Sitting in my Patio trying to paint Rhododendrons, which are standing in the opposite end of my garden. Not good to be too close, as I would begin to paint too many details. ;-) Still trying to paint mostly wet in wet and practice "negative" painting too. Love it.

We have sunny, windy and still cold weather, but they promised it would be slightly warmer during next week.

well one more, lol...your negative painting really did leave these spheres for you to work with, and the flowers are wonderfully filled in with gentle washes and the most natural free-style brushstrokes for petals. Your different purples/pinks are lovely, and you have dabs of coppery-orange too, which are sweet contrasts. Your leaves, on the other hand, are intense and deep. And you've surrounded it all with the most easeful strokes, kind of taking us "out" with gentle energies. It's really beautiful Helle, and it has an almost 3 dimensional feel, because of the 'modeling' in your flower-bunches. (Modeling in the old meaning of giving 3 dimensions to an object.) I think this is a beautiful painting. You're doing such beautiful 2D!
